Dress code. Really? I am expected to create a new dress code for my school. Who does she think she is, forcing me to make a dress code? Just because I am the new assistant principal and she is my boss does not give her the right to tell me what to do! What if the kids find out I am to blame for their new dress code! I will just make up some random excuse like, “It is not my fault she goes bossing me around like that!”
I have an idea! I will make a dress code all kids will love. Wait, maybe I should make one they all hate so they complain to my boss and she will realize that she has no right to be downright bossy to me! Na, never mind I will just make one in my own opinion.
Okay, first I will not allow shoes! Oh, how am I supposed to listen to the click, clack, click, clack all day long? I am sure not only will I be thankful for the silence; the teachers will have to love me for saving their ears from bursting!
Now I will not allow colorless t-shirts! What is a t-shirt without color? I mean really. Come on people we have got to have some color here! I will not tolerate kids who refuse to wear a colored shirt!
The pants I allow kids to wear will be another story. Now I think numbers that are the same are boring, such as, 2+2. Now is that boring or what? So I will only allow kids to wear pants or shorts that measure differently. One side must be longer than the other, for all I care it could be one millimeter of a difference but I will not allow them to be the same length. The students will be notified that if their bottoms look like there is less than a 2 inch difference they will be measured.
On every Monday and Thursday I will have kids wear unicorn tattoos next to their eye (don’t worry they will be fake!). On the other days; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday the kids will be required to wear rainbow tattoos (also fake). The boys will be allowed to wear glittery ones on every Tuesday and Thursday if they so desire, but will not be allowed on any other days!
My dress code will make for a pleasant and easy school year if the children obey my few commands. If any of my pupils can go a whole school year without getting dress coded, they might just receive a reward of my choice. I will warn the children that if they refuse to obey my dress code it will only make their life all the more miserable!
