When I win an Academy Award for best director, this will be my speech:
“Oh my goodness, thanks so much for this incredible award. I am so glad that I can finally fulfill my childhood dream of winning an Oscar.
First off, I’d like to thank everyone who supported me. You are all so wonderful, and I’m very glad you could be in my life. I’d like to specifically thank my family. They have been there through everything, and they really helped me out. I couldn’t have gotten this award or be standing here without them. I’d also like to thank all the cast and crew members who participated in this movie. They were all so good in the film, and I couldn’t have made this movie a success with them not there. I’d like to thank the Academy for this amazing honor, and I am definitely very grateful for all of you. This is a dream come true.
Tonight, I have witnessed something out of this world. You all have too. I cannot believe that my biggest dream has actually been fulfilled!
But especially I’d like to thank God for this award. He has guided me through my life, and I give this award to Him. In Nahum 1:7 it says, “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows them that trust in Him.” Just always believe you can do anything with God by your side. I know that He is here right next to me up on the stage in the Kodak Theater. Putting all your trust in Him is the best decision you can ever make in your life.
So everyone go home tonight, and all those watching on the television, when you go to bed, think about this amazing dream come true, and pray to God that one day your dream will come true. I know mine did.
Thanks again for this spectacular award everyone!”
…And that’s my Academy Award speech. But for now, I’ll just keep dreaming, praying, and putting all my trust in God.
Like I said in my speech, God is your biggest helper to fulfill your dream. Nahum 1:7 is a great example of putting all your trust in God. Because if you do, your dreams will come true!
I hope that my Oscar speech will be a great example for people if they’re struggling in their life. And I hope that I will always trust in God. All of my days.
