I’m so excited I just got put in my box and the bride is on her way to get
me! I hope she thinks I’m as beautiful as I think I am! As her car pulls
up I can hear the engine stop. I start to think, does she love me? As she
walks in I can hear the excitement in her voice as she asks to see me. As
she picks me up, she gasps and starts to cry as she comments on how
beautiful I am. I feel joy that she loves me.
We travel to the church and I am careful to not lose any of my pedals. In
the brides room I can feel the excitement of the bridesmaids as they comment
on how beautiful the bride is. The bride pulls me out of the box to show me
off as her mother walks in. Her mother tells her how beautiful she is and
how I compliment her dress. I can tell she’s nervous as she gripping me
tightly.
She begins walking down the hall toward the ceremony, her grip is getting
tighter the closer she get to the door. She stops a foot away from the door,
her palms now sweaty and her breathing heavier than before. She is twirling
me in her hands. I can feel the hands of her father close around hers as he
kisses her on the cheek and says he loves her. They walk to the door. She
holds me close to her face and takes a long deep breathe just as the doors
open. Her hands get even sweatier and her grip tighter. I can see all the
guests rise as they watch the bride walk by. I can see the excitement in the
groom’s eyes as the bride gets closer. I am held against her body as the
ceremony starts.
As the bride passes me to one of her bridesmaids I can feel her shaking. The
bride doesn’t want to give me up. I watch as the groom takes the bride’s
hands and says the magical words “I Do.” I am handed back to the bride, this
time I notice her grip isn’t as tight as before. I can feel a sense of
relief in her grip. Her palms are not sweaty and I can now feel a ring on
her left hand. As the bride turns to face the guests she smells me once more
and I can feel the excitement in the room. As they are walking back down the
aisle now, as man and wife, the groom comments on my beauty, I have done my
job!
I am excited with the results of this wedding. The bride loved me, the
ceremony was beautiful, I did my job as the wedding bouquet. I hope that
every wedding would be this perfect. Everything was great. I wish for the
bride to live her happily ever after.
