Katlyn S. - "I Love You Very Much"

“I will pick you up from school today,” said her father.

She walked to her classroom, not wanting to go to school hoping to go to work with her father.

“Bye daddy I love you, don’t be late to pick me up. Asked Emily eagerly.

Walking away he knew he was going to be late for work. Not knowing that he was being followed. Driving away not remembering he had forgotten Emily’s lunch box.

“Daddy Daddy!! My lunch box Daddy!” cried Emily.

He quickly ran back to her classroom to give Emily her Hannah Montana pop star lunch box with a GoGurt enter to win a grand prize sweepstakes to a Justin Bieber concert with VIP seats and a meet and greet after the show. Also with dads best PB&J sandwich with only Wonder Bread, and a Capri Sun with a silly straw, and always a surprise warm fresh baked brownie that her mommy gives to her everyday with a note saying “I love you!”

“Thank you daddy! Now hurry and get to work I don’t want you to be late.”

Rushing back to his car, he was scheduled for a 9:45 meeting. He quickly had to get to Time Square.

He quickly speed through all the cities and made it 5 minutes to spare.

While Emily was at school she day dreamed about her lunch. The warm fresh baked brownie, the delicious GoGurt, the best PB&J sandwich, and a Capri sun with a silly straw, and the best thing ever, the note “I Love You.”

She dreamed about her dad picking her up from school and taking her to McDonald's to get a kids meal with a 4 piece chicken McNuggets with a small fry and a toy after I finish her chicken McNuggets.

“Emily, please pay attention” her teacher informed.

“Sorry.” said Emily.

The rest of the day, she played on the swing set and the slide, and read the Three Little Pigs, and enjoyed her delicious lunch.

The day finally ended and she waited for her dad to pick her up. He came speeding through the school gate.

“Daddy why are you so late?” said Emily.

“Sorry Emily I had an important meeting that I could not miss.” said her father.

“Its okay, can we still go to McDonald's?” said Emily

Her father shook his head with satisfaction and drove toward Mc Donald's. They finally arrived to get a bite to eat.

“What would you like Emily?” said her father.

“I would like a kids meal with 4 piece chicken McNugget, a small fry and can I please have a toy” Emily said eagerly.

“Sure, anything else?” said the cashier.

They quickly received there food and sat right next to the playpen where kids would play right after they would finish all there food.

“Order number 77 said the cashier, have a nice day.”

Emily opened her nuggets and ate a french fry. She later finished all her food and even got a refill.

“Daddy can I please go inside the playpen?” asked Emily.

“Sure, but first I have VERY important news to tell you.

“What?!?” Emily asked enthusiastically

“Your mother and I are... having a baby!”

Emily was so excited she hardly wait to have a new brother or sister.

The day finely came. Her mother was rushed to the hospital. The baby was too early and because of this. The baby died. Her father did not want to tell Emily the dreadful news.

“Emily there is something I need to tell you, your mother was taken to the hospital today, the baby came too early and, it died.

Emily was very upset about this painful news.

“Just remember Emily your mother and I love you very much and nothing could change that.”

“At least she is in Heaven, and we love you her very much.”
