Jonna L. - "My First Wedding"

Here I am sitting in the middle of a bright green table. The table is decorated with cream plates and shiny silverware. There are also orange rose pedals scattered on the table. There are also many people surrounding me.

There is a beautiful lady dressed in a very elegant white dress. It has many sparkly beads around the waist. Then it poofs out like a big ball gown. Next to her there is a man dressed in a brown tux and a green tie.

Then some music starts and the bride and groom walk toward the dance. They twirled and spun around the dance floor until the song ended.

Then they went back to their seats to eat. For dinner they had some juicy steak with mashed potatoes and for the kids they had chicken strips with French fries. They had many other different food choices too. For dessert they had Fresno State ice cream with a whole bunch of toppings like Oreos, chocolate chips, gummy worms, M&Ms, and several other types of candies.

In one of the corners there was a photo booth were you could get your picture taken with different props like big sunglasses, funky hats and clown noses. I saw the three flower girls getting their picture taken with the bride. It was really cute.

After dinner is when all the dancing started. The people were going crazy. Some people were swinging from one side of the dance floor to the other. They also did this dance where all of the guests held on to each other’s shoulders and they half danced, half walked around the room.

A while later, the party ended, and everyone said goodbye to the bride and groom. I was left in the big dark room all alone.

In the morning, I was given to one of the little girls who didn’t think the party was over. She would run up and down the hallways of the hotel carrying me. I don’t think she knew that I was losing my petals because of her. She was also very fascinated by the glass elevator. You could see down from eight stories high.

She also took me to breakfast with her. She ate some French toast and had a glass of orange juice. Then she left and went to play again.

Later on it was time to go home. Everyone was saying their goodbyes and starting to go home. As I was put in the car I looked back and thought of how much fun everyone had.
